Old archived sermons cannot be found on apps
With the new update…several churches are only showing uploads from 2017 to present. Many churches had uploaded certain things dated as far back as the 80’s. Where are all of these now??
Another user also reported this. We will be looking into this issue on the apps and fix it in an upcoming maintenance update. As a workaround, you can access old sermons using the Advanced Filters in the web browser version at https://accentral.apostolicchristian.org
Book/Chapter issues
Since installing the newest update, I am no longer able to search by book and chapter. It just brings up a blank page under all congregations. Any suggestions?
Looks like you found a bug! When adding a chapter to a book filter, it only displays the blank screen. We'll squash this bug in a maintenance update in the near future.
Old sermons
Since the update the sermons don’t go back very far. I wanted to save some old sermons in Tremont and Elgin Illinois and they are gone. Iphone
We'll look into that on the apps. As a workaround, you can access old sermons using the Advanced Filters in the browser version at https://accentral.apostolicchristian.org
Hymns tab functions
Under the hymns tab, might you consider adding a progress bar and a playback speed function? Many of the songs play much faster than we typically sing them. This would enhance an already invaluable tool for song leaders who are unskilled piano players. Thank you, God bless.
Thanks for the your message. This feature is already there. Just touch the brown player bar at the bottom and it opens the Now Playing screen with progress bar and speed settings.
Extend Time Before App Refreshes
I often listen to a message (could be a Sermon or Around the Table message, etc.) while I do my morning exercises. When done, I stop the audio but don’t close the app entirely, leaving the app as is. The next day, when I am ready to pick up the sermon where I left off, I find that the app "resets" so that I am back at the home screen and the sermon I was listening to is "closed." I then have to search the list again, and depending on what it was, it may take a bit of filtering to find.
Recently I went back to the app only about six hours after listening that morning, but even after only six hours, it reset everything again, making me have to go find the sermon.
I’m sure there are reasons why developers might want an app to refresh upon entry, but it seems like the time before refreshing could be extended a bit. I regularly use the audio book app Hoopla, for instance, and it won't refresh unless it's been more than 24 hours. That makes it nice because I can resume listening quickly without having to go find and open my book.
Thanks for all the good work on this app. I use it every day. Blessings.

Where is the appropriate place to submit discussion topic suggestions for Breaking Bread?
Update Hymn search program
The hymns need more search options like by song number; I can't seem to get it to work this way. (Says completed, but not true!)
Not all hymns are listed; needs updated!
Not a very efficient program! Sorry!
Songs are searchable by number, but some hymn books are not in the system yet so if you are searching for those, they won't be found. We depend upon volunteers to do the work of typing lyrics, scanning music and creating the reference music before they can be added to AC Central.
Sermon Search Feature
On the web browser you can no longer search sermons by topic or speaker. Is this something that will be added back at some point?
We have now transitioned to AC Central 3.0 which includes new apps and website. Search has been restored to the web version.
New icon called Topical Services!
I'd really like to see the topical services put together with a separate icon like "Around the Table"! These services are so valuable and sometimes a little more difficult to find. Thank you!
