Bible studies
Is there a way we can have Bible Studies or daily reading guides, for individual use, added to the app? I just finished reading “the Bible in a year” on another app and found it to be a blessing.
App crashes
iPad is iOS 12.5.5 iPad Air. AC central continually crashes when we try to open it. We have installed and uninstalled several times.
There is an AC Central update available now in the App store which enables compatibility with iOS 12.5.5.
Technically, this is not a bug with AC Central since livestreaming uses a third party service, which is where the issue is. We are looking into ways to prevent future outages.
Refresh
When going to the app and there are a couple of sermons missing and you pull down to refresh it seems like it takes a very long time for them to refresh. Up to five minutes or so.
This should be fixed in v.4 of the app. If you are still experiencing problems, let us know.
So, Apple beat us to it. The sermon download problem which Apple caused with iOS 15.1.1 was fixed in their iOS 15.2 update, which was just released.
This is not currently possible, but it is a great idea and we do plan to implement a listening queue at some point in 2022, depending on funding.
Doing some catch-up on issues status: the Psalms filter bug was fixed in one of our recent updates.
Old sermons
I am disappointed to find old sermons from the 80’s and prior have disappeared from the app. Those were some of my favorite ones to listen to.
The most recent app updates fix the last remaining issue preventing accessing pre-1969 sermons.
iOS v12.5.5 compatibility?
Should the AC central app work with IOS 12.5.5? When I try to open the app, it shows the startup screen but then fails to open. Have tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone.
There is an AC Central update available now in the App store which enables compatibility with iOS 12.5.5.
