We are aware that some users have been experiencing stream interruptions and have had our developers looking into this for many months. It has been a major challenge to isolate the exact problem, given the large number of variables with every church, device, internet connection, OS version, etc. That being said, we have a couple things we'll be rolling out, both in the apps and behind the scenes, likely within the next 30 days, which are looking very promising in our testing. Be assured that this is a priority and we are working on it.

Reading the Silver Lining through the app requires a one-time registration by completing a contact form in the app. After that you can access any issue. There should not be any restriction based on the user's location. If you are still experiencing problems after registering, please post here with the specific details of the error you experience.

Currently, there are no plans to expand the website to exactly mimic the app functionality. We have limited development funds and 95% of all AC Central traffic is on mobile devices so that is where we focus our efforts. That being said, you can post this as a feature request and if it gets enough votes, it will be considered.

The latest iOS version of the app added simultaneous background downloading of multiple recordings. However, this is only available when viewing a specific congregation / event / studio. Downloading is no longer available when viewing "All Congregations/Events/Studio". To download, you just need to go down a level of specificity.

The Oct 2018 iOS app now allows for background downloading when in specific Congregation / Studio / Event views. Queue up multiple files and continue using the app without waiting for them to complete.

The Oct 2018 app releases refresh the database much more quickly and should hopefully fix these issues. Let us know if the issue persists.

The Oct 2018 app releases provide access to 7 days of prayer requests.

You can access any congregation directly by going to this URL (showing an example of Rittman): http://accentral.apostolicchristian.org/congregation/Rittman
