Unable to download from a church website

blgerber 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 3

Can you please make a "download" button available on the individual church website archive lists?

It looks like if I go to the archives page on a church’s website (http://www.goodfieldacchurch.org/sermonshttp://www.gridleyacchurch.org/audio-archives,http://www.roanokeacchurch.org/archivedSermons.asp) it will let me play a service but there is no option to download it.  I need to go to the AC Central site (http://accentral.apostolicchristian.org/sermons) in order to find that capability which is not at convenient for people who are looking at our site or listening to it from our site already.

Sermon Upload: Sermon Drafts

Aaron Bauman 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 0

It would be nice if we could enter the details of a sermon, such as speaker and chapters read, and save those details without having to upload a sermon.  We often have these details well before the mp3 is ready to upload.  Especially with the errors blocking the uploads lately, it would be nice to not have to re-enter all of the sermon details each time the upload fails.

ACCentral is not working this morning!

Our Amazon Web Services host server crashed, taking down the entire system Sunday morning. We were back up by about 12:30pm Eastern. However, this forum is not the best place to post about system outages since it is not monitored outside of normal business hours. If you are a church sound system person and notice a problem, please submit a ticket to InfoTech as explained in the document provided to your church when you were setup on AC Central. This will provide the quickest response.

App will not update sermons

Taylor 7 years ago updated by Admin 6 years ago 10

My app will not update any sermons past May 2017. Other things update like Silver Lining and the studio update, but the sermons will not update. I have deleted and reloaded the app onto my phone, but no luck. Is there something else I should try?

The Oct 2018 app releases refresh the database much more quickly and should hopefully fix these issues.

Enable API Access

Zach Pertee 7 years ago updated by Troy Steffen 6 years ago 1

I’m interested in building an Alexa app so that I can listen to and voice control sermons on a device that starts at ~$30.  Would love to have API level access to the existing backend systems so that I could more easily and officially accomplish this.

List of hymns always goes back to top

jm hill88 7 years ago updated 6 years ago 8

Just a suggestion for an improvement. When looking through the list of hymns, if I look at one and then go back to the list, it always starts over at the top of the list. Kind of a pain when looking for a specific hymn and the one I selected isn't the right one, because instead of going back to where I was on the list of songs I have to start over at the top. Not a big deal, but if there was a solution it would be nice. Thanks!

This is included in next update, available in a few days.

You must be experiencing a device specific problem. The app is designed to retain downloads until the user deletes them. We are not able to replicate your problem and have no reports of this happening to other users. Try deleting and reinstalling the most recent version of the app.

Live stream sometimes cuts out on iOS

dwweerts 8 years ago updated by Admin 6 years ago 4

When listening to live stream on an Apple device, sometimes the stream pauses then resumes. Other times it stops completely.

We recently changed our streaming provider (a couple churches still need to switch over yet) and issued updates to the iOS and Android apps. The new Android app contained a new audio player. In our testing, this has eliminated 90% of the problems so for now, we are going to consider this Fixed (there will never be 100% perfection in streaming given all the variables from church to end user that could fail.)
