Downloads are working. For iOS, you must be in a specific category group to see the download option. For example, you won't see it in Events>All Events, but you will see it in Events>Brotherhood Conferences.
Turn off app during live stream
When playing a live stream sermon how do I stop it and turn it off vs just pause? Pause just seems to leave it up in the notifications area as if it is still running in the background. Don't know if it still streaming data at that point of not. Just looking for a simple way to shut down the whole app
If you are using Android, the small player in the notification center can be swiped away to remove it. Shutting down the whole app is done the same way as force quitting any other app: swipe it away in the app switcher view of either iOS or Android. This will also clear it out of the notification center.
A paused live stream should not continue to stream data beyond an initial buffer amount.
Prayer requests
Would it be possible to send the request earlier? I get mine around 11pm, and they wake me up .
You will receive your prayer request notifications at the time you have chosen in AC Central's Settings menu > Notifications Setting. The default setting is the time of day which you originally installed the app. Just change it to whatever you prefer.
Seachability of sermons by Book series
Some churches preach through books of the bible in an orderly fashion. Would it be possible to have an easy way to search out these series and listen to them in order?
While we are still prevented from showing book compilations for some of our hymn books, we did add book names next to each song. This was in the Feb 2022 app update.
We are switching cloud storage providers and the file sync is not complete. Entries from approximately the past month will not play or download but this will be resolved within a day or so.
Funerals
I appreciate downloading or listening to funerals when I’m not able to go to them. I’ve noticed that they’re not always uploaded. For example I would like to listen to a funeral from Peoria on 4/6/19 and it’s not available. Do all churches not upload funerals? Thanks! I love the app! It’s especially good for shut ins.
Aaron is correct. Each church decides what to upload. However, in the past couple of weeks, many churches have been unable to upload files due to technical problems which we are working on fixing. It is possible that is why some of the funerals you are looking for are not appearing.
Calendar Tile
Hello, thank you for all the efforts in the development of this resource. It would be wonderful to have a calendar tile here as well: so events can be centrally posted, reviewed, and rsvp'd to for event organizers.. driving more traffic to this unifying app
