We realize that the way this works is not ideal. However, fixing it on the current platform was cost prohibitive. We do have a complete rewrite of the apps in the works (currently in testing) which fixes this. Users will be able to download in any view.

Thankfully, the current developers found this latest issue and fixed it quickly. It should be working normally now. Let us know if you continue to experience problems.

The problem loading the Sermons page on the website has become more consistent, so we have asked our current developers to take another look into this. Depending on what they find this time, there is the possibility that the expense to fix this may not be worth the investment, given that we have a new system (from a different developer) nearing completion. In the meantime, we encourage people to use the AC Central phone / tablet apps (which already get 95% of the traffic.)

We are aware of this issue. It has been an intermittent problem for months and our developers did do an update a while back to address it. Unfortunately, it still happens at times, especially at peak times (during services). However, given that we have a new system finally about to launch (in testing right now) we will not be investing any more into the current system given that only a tiny percentage of our overall traffic to AC Central is through websites.
