Thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to discuss these timely topics. They are a grounding experience and helps me remember why I love our church!

Mark 13:37 watchfulness
What are we to be watching for? How do we know we are watching? What are the possible consequences of lax watchfulness?

Baptism and membership
Excellent, especially the difference between being a member of the body and membership. But have left out an important part of membership: when you join an organization, you are committing to it's Statement of Faith. I realize this is a touchy subject currently and so can expound elsewhere if desired...

Elder wives
Would love to hear from elder wives! What do they wish their congregations understood about their role? How can we best support them? What are their biggest challenges?

Age of accountability
When does a child become accountable for their sin? It seems like it’s more complicated than simply knowing right from wrong. A young child raised in a Christian home knows right from wrong at a very early age And chooses wrong. Additionally, we are born sinners and therefore guilty in the eyes of God.
If a young child (5-10) would express sorrow for sin (or fear of hell) be able to make a confession of faith? And if so how do we make space for these baby believers? I’m not talking of child evangelism this would come unprompted from the child.

Developing the discipline of prayer
How do we cultivate a powerful, spirit-filled prayer life? Are we including enough individual and corporate prayer in our worship?

God’s Design in Gender Distinction - Part 3?
The first two parts of this topic were very insightful. However, they seemed to focus more on what Godly submission/headship is NOT rather than what it IS. Perhaps it would be helpful if there was a “Part 3” (or more) to address this in more detail, and to give actionable advice on how we can apply these concepts in our relationships.
