Embedded video player repeating tiny amount every 8-10s on desktop browser.

We experienced this significantly tonight, when doing a replay of the Breakout 1 video from 2025 conference on a laptop at our church. This same laptop was used to play 2 previous sessions earlier this month with no issues.

I have now been able to repro this on 3 different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) on two different machines (one laptop, one desktop) on two different Internet connections.  The behavior is that the player, about every 8-10 seconds, the control bar pops up, and the audio & video seem to scratch and skip backwards slightly and repeat the same ~0.2s.  We watched an hour session and it repeated tiny portions constantly throughout, hundreds of times.

You can see an example here - https://imgur.com/a/64luXtV - At about the 8 second mark, as the speaker begins to walk to the left, you see his head jerk back slightly as the video replays a few frames.  If you could hear the audio, it would also jump back a tiny bit and replay the same audio.

I have also found later that if I right-click and get the frame source url, and then open that url in a new browser (example - https://player.vimeo.com/video/1109150964?autoplay=1&h=a50fe425d6) - this opens a player in a full screen which does NOT have the issue with the glitching every 10 seconds.  So it seems not to be an issue with Vimeo or the player per se, but some interaction with how the player is embedded within the accentral site.

That's getting way over this moderator's head, but I'll let our developer know.

I don't know if it's the proper channel but I did start a Github issue here with technical notes - https://github.com/vimeo/player.js/issues/1119.  They are wanting more information about how the Vimeo player is rendered, ideally with a small sample page that demonstrates the issue, but I'm not sure what that would look like.

Thanks for the detailed troubleshooting on this. Very helpful! We are using Vimeo's player and connecting through their API so we'll need to determine if this is a problem on their end or ours. It might be something we'll need them to fix if the problem just recently started since no changes were made recently to the desktop version of AC Central.

I should also mention I have tried a handful of different videos and they all exhibit the same behavior, so it's not specific to this session.
