An update is now available in the Play store that fixes this issue.

it never comes back to where it left off if I go out of it.  I can pause it and then it comes back ok.  Gail

I did reinstall the newest update too.

Thanks for your feedback. On further testing, this is what we discovered:

  1. Pause sermon. Use a different app, come back to AC Central to resume playing sermon and it continues where it left off.
  2. Pause sermon. Force quit AC Central. Relaunch AC Central to resume playing sermon and it continues where it left off.
  3. Pause sermon. Restart phone. Relaunch AC Central to resume playing sermon. Play/Unplayed indicator shows sermon as completely played. Playback starts at the beginning.  

Please verify if this matches your experience.

I tried a sermon today, it doesn't stop like it did but if I pause it and come back, it doesn't come back to where I ended.  If I close it out and restart, it used to start up where I left off, it doesn't do that either..  Some improvement but not fixed yet I would say.

We have enough user feedback on this now that we can conclusively say that there is a definite problem with the AC Central audio player on Android v.9 devices. Our developers have been notified and will begin working on resolving the issue. Watch for an app update, hopefully soon.
