When listening to live stream on an Apple device, sometimes the stream pauses then resumes. Other times it stops completely.
We recently changed our streaming provider (a couple churches still need to switch over yet) and issued updates to the iOS and Android apps. The new Android app contained a new audio player. In our testing, this has eliminated 90% of the problems so for now, we are going to consider this Fixed (there will never be 100% perfection in streaming given all the variables from church to end user that could fail.)
There have been some in Rockville that have complained of "Rockville" AC Central Steaming stopping and then having to restart using Apple devices. Personally I was only involved with this once where my wife was listening with her iPhone 7 that would often stop however would work OK with a restart. I then tried my iPhone 7 and an iPad which did not seem to have the problem. I then had my wife completely reboot her phone which for the remainder of that night seemed to correct the issue. However she has had similar issues again but I've not complained thinking the issue may still be with her iPhone. For those who have complained at Church, I've tried to determine if the issue has been with more than one listener or isolated to just one but to date this has been hard to do. I think as we move forward we'll keep a log as to Date & Time in hopes of obtaining more accurate correlation.
