Player notification won't go way when not in use
The easy access sound player bar (not sure what it is called, but it has a play button and fast forward buttons) keeps reappearing in my notification bar even when not in use. If I close/swipe it, it reappears within a couple minutes, or for sure the next time I enter the AC Central app, even if I have not been listening to anything. I don't want to turn off all AC Central notifications, but don't know how else to get rid of this sound player from my notification bar. Is this a big or something I can fix?

It doesn't seem to be an issue for family members with newer versions of Android. I understand if it is not feasible to correct this issue unless there are many others having problems. Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for your assistance. I have been having this issue since the last update when Around the Table was added.
That's a pretty old version of Android, which could be the problem. We only test on Android 7, 8, and 9. Due to our very limited development funds, we must focus on the OS versions that have the vast majority of users. It would be helpful to try something: if you have a friend or family member with a newer Android, test on those and see if they behave the same way. For now, we'll leave this issue open to see if other users vote on it to get a sense for how widespread the issue is and then determine next steps, if any.
Based on your description, it sounds like you are using an Android device. We cannot replicate the issue you describe on our test Android device. However, every device and OS version are different. Please post your device brand and model as well as the operating system version.
